I do not know if it was runs or but will guarantee no cracks at worst may need rings and bearings. This is a rare remanufactured or slightly used engine for MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite model's 1966-1974 with 1275cc. I am positive it has a high lift camshaft and compression pistons as well. We checked and it does turn over freely.
The cylinder head is stamped #12G1321. This engine has Alloy water pump pulley, Special alloy rocker arms and shaft, Rear plate, Racing flywheel clutch, Bosch high output distributor. There was a lot of money put into this engine.
