Crank is STD size on Main and Rod journals .0025-.0028 bearing clearances both except rear main which .003 with crank end play around .008 using King possibly ARP stud kit. Engine is very tight in attempting to roll over. New Durant cam bearing installed with lifter bores relieved and drilled to enable use of Johnson Adjustable Lifters.
Not sure if from sitting on stand a number of years or clearance was missed. Retaining stock stroke resulting in 244 cubic inches. New water pumps installed as well. Block is decked .010 to square, banks matched and low RA finish for copper head gaskets.
All valves seats are hardened with reground to spec using lifter bore mandrel, new lapped and installed guides, springs, clips. Stock cast domed pistons fitted to clipped/honed size rods with ARP nuts. 1953 Ford 8BA Flat Head V-8 that has pressured tested and Manga Fluxed that's been bored .040 over. I didn't assemble the engine.
