I have tried to tell the true background of this engine with information have, no surprises. Somewhat low from original due to the lower compression. Block 3970010 Original O rods. When I got this engine, it had the yellow solid-core plug wires.

As stated above, Elfin cam and lifters. This figure should hold but a slight possibility it could go up small amount. Power bond OEM replacement damper New AC/Delco water pump Original finned valve covers heat riser, works, This engine is put together with Sealed Power aluminum flat-top pistons and rings. But with gas today you cannot buy a high enough octane at the pump to keep from detonation.

New Feel-pro gaskets throughout. My machinist would not work with it, so a new Scat steel crankshaft is now being used. The crankshaft was unusable. It was in terrible condition with a blown head gasket amongst other things.

I still have the original crankshaft, cam and damper if you want these items. This engine lived a rough life. The original transmission did not come with this engine. Not original.

As many original parts as possible were used to put the engine together. This is a rare engine, 1 of 1287 engines ever produced. I thought they looked nostalgic, so left them on. This is now a plug and play engine as I have had it on Dino.

I DO reserve the right to sell locally. These are all good pressure ranges, as contrary to popular belief these small block engines do not need a ton of. I bought this engine from the third owner of Corvette that came. All new valve springs, stem seals, guides and seats to accommodate no-lead gas.

I personally blueprinted the lower end and crankshaft came in perfectly for rod main clearances with King bearings. I wanted to stay as close original possible from when this engine was born. Obviously this is not a radical build and was meant to be. I have for sale a true 1970 370hp Corvette engine.

This cam has the original specs as from factory. I reserve the right to sell this engine locally. This is more than enough power to push a lighter car down the street very nicely. It had been welded on probably after the piston incident.

These heads were never used on production engines. Engine code is V1222CTU. Plus it sat outside in the elements for over a year. Sometimes called 'pink' rods.
